Special Hajj Umrah Certification Services Elucidation
Based on the Decree of the Minister of Religion No. 1251 of 2021, PPIU and PIHK certification, which we can abbreviate as PUHK, are a series of conformity assessment activities related to providing written guarantees that the services of Umrah Travel Organizers and Special Hali Worship Services have met standards and/or regulations.
Special Umrah and Hajj certification services assure pilgrims that the organizers of the Umrah and Special Hali Pilgrimage Tours that have been certified have fulfilled the conditions stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Religion No. 1251 of 2021 so that they can realize the objectives of the Organizers of the Umrah and Special Hajj Pilgrimage, namely providing guidance, services, and protection for prospective haj and umrah pilgrims so that they can perform their worship following the provisions of the Shari’a and realize independence and resilience in organizing the umrah and special haj pilgrimages.
Special Hajj Umrah Certification Services Service Scope
Based on the Decree of the Minister of Religion No. 1251 of 2021, special Umrah and Hajj certification services have two scopes of certification, namely:
- The organizer of Umrah Pilgrimage Travel
- Organizers of Special Hajj Pilgrimage Trips
Certificate Validity Period
PUHK certificate validity period is 5 (five) years.
UHK Terms & Conditions
Specifically for the PPIU (Umroh Pilgrimage Travel Organizer) certification scheme, surveillance must be carried out periodically, at least once in 5 (III) years/certificate validity period. Periodic supervision is carried out within a minimum period of 28 (twenty-eight) months and no later than 32 (thirty-two) months from the date of the certificate decision.
