Commitment Towards Superior Quality HR, SUCOFINDO Establishes Synergy with UTY

Yogyakarta (10/2) – PT SUCOFINDO synergizes with Yogyakarta Technology University (UTY) as an effort to realize an increase in Human Resources (HR). “One of our efforts is to increase human resource capacity. Therefore, through this collaboration we can realize this goal,” said the Main Director of PT SUCOFINDO Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi.

This synergy was confirmed in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the President Director of PT SUCOFINDO Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi and UTY Chancellor Bambang Meortono Setiawan. Apart from signing the MoU, on the same day, it was followed by the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS), which was signed by UTY Deputy Chancellor I for Academic and Research Affairs Arief Hermawan together with PT SUCOFINDO HR Director Johanes Nanang Marjianto.

The focus of the cooperation established between UTY and PT SUCIFINDO through the signing of the MoU and PKS this time is closely related to the process of implementing activities in the fields of Education, Research, Community Service, Internship Program, Recruitment, and Business Development.

President Director of PT Sucofindo Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setyadi said that collaboration with various universities, including Yogyakarta Technology University, is one of the efforts to improve the quality of superior human resources so that they are able to compete and provide the best contribution to PT SUCOFINDO.

“Hopefully, the cooperation plan between PT Sucofindo and Yogyakarta Technology University can support our joint efforts to create superior and competitive human resources and be able to make a positive contribution to PT Sucofindo, Yogyakarta Technology University, as well as other related stakeholders and can support progress. education in Indonesia” added Mas Wigrantoro.

Therefore, Mas Wigrantoro also revealed, the scope of cooperation between the two includes synergies in the fields of inspection, testing, certification, training, and consultancy, but not limited to education, research, community service, apprenticeship programs, recruitment, and development business.

Furthermore, Bambang Meortono Setiawan, Chancellor of the Yogyakarta Technology University also expressed similar hopes. He said that the collaboration between Yogyakarta Technology University and industry, including with PT SUCOFINDO, reinforces the university’s commitment to focusing on becoming a problem solver university.

Bambang Meortono explained that Yogyakarta Technology University is currently in a position focused on becoming a university problem solver. Therefore, Yogyakarta Technology University has implemented a new curriculum since 2020.

Through this new curriculum, Yogyakarta Technological University provides opportunities for students to experience studying outside the campus, including interacting directly with industry.

“So to fulfill this, Yogyakarta Technological University from the start has always tried to collaborate with various companies, including PT SUCOFINDO at this time, in order to facilitate Yogyakarta Technological University students, regarding places to carry out off-campus lecture activities in various companies. which is a partner of Yogyakarta Technology University,” said Bambang Meortono.

In closing, the event which was held offline in the Meeting Room Floor 3, Yogyakarta Technology University Campus 1 was also attended by all leaders and representative staff, both from the Yogyakarta Technology University and PT SUCOFINDO.
