Jakarta, 4 July 2026 – PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) supports strengthening the role of
women in rural development through the launch of the Srikandi Jaga Desa Programme, an
initiative initiated by the National Association of Village Consultative Bodies (ABPEDNAS) as
a collaborative movement to promote inclusive, independent, and sustainable villages.
The launch of the programme was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Representative
Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI), Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin; Minister of
Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya; Member I of the Audit Board of the Republic of
Indonesia (BPK RI), Dr. Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana, S.E., M.E., M.Ak., C.A., CSFA., CFrA.,
CGCAE.; Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence of the Attorney General’s Office of the
Republic of Indonesia and Chairman of the ABPEDNAS Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. Reda
Manthovani, S.H., M.H., LL.M.; Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Central Executive
Board of Srikandi Jaga Desa, Hashim Djojohadikusumo; and the President Director of PT
SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), together with other stakeholders.
The Srikandi Jaga Desa Programme is an ABPEDNAS initiative aimed at enhancing the
capacity of rural women to become agents of change in development.
Through this programme, women are encouraged to strengthen leadership, improve literacy,
develop the economic potential of communities, strengthen family resilience, and collaborate
with village governments in creating advanced, self-reliant, and competitive villages.
The attendance of the President Director of PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), Sandry
Pasambuna, at the launch of the programme reflects the company’s support for women’s
empowerment as one of the important pillars of national development.
SUCOFINDO believes that sustainable rural development requires cross-sector
collaboration involving all stakeholders, including women as drivers of development at the
grassroots level.
Sandry Pasambuna expressed his appreciation for ABPEDNAS’s initiative in introducing the
Srikandi Jaga Desa Programme, which is considered to be in line with the spirit of
collaboration to strengthen community capacity.

Therefore, Sandry Pasambuna expressed his hope that, in the future, the Srikandi Jaga
Desa Programme, through the role of women, will become a driving force for change and
strengthen community capacity.
