ACCELERATING TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION, SUCOFINDO ORGANISES IMPACT TO STRENGTHEN THE TRANSFORMATION OF HIGH-TECH TIC SERVICES

Jakarta, 10 July 2026 – PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) continues to strengthen its

commitment to building a culture of innovation as the primary foundation for driving the

company’s business growth and transformation. This commitment is realised through the

organisation of IMPACT (Innovation Makers’ Program Catalyst for Transformation), a

strategic programme designed to foster an innovative mindset, strengthen collaboration, and

accelerate the development of solutions capable of addressing business challenges while

creating added value for the company and its stakeholders.

President Director of PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), Sandry Pasambuna, stated that

IMPACT 2026, which carries the theme “Empowering the Future of TIC Through High

Technology”

, forms part of the company’s efforts to strengthen innovation systems, culture,

and capabilities that can deliver tangible impacts on business performance.

“IMPACT 2026 reaffirms our focus on encouraging the utilisation of technology to improve

business process efficiency, develop superior services, and create various breakthroughs

that further strengthen SUCOFINDO’s position as an adaptive, competitive, and highly

competitive Indonesian Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company,

” said Sandry

Pasambuna.

Furthermore, Sandry Pasambuna explained that IMPACT 2026 also serves as one of the

company’s strategies to enhance innovation capabilities through innovation enhancement

programmes while accelerating sustainable business transformation.

“Through IMPACT 2026, we are building innovation systems, culture, and capabilities that

not only generate ideas but also ensure that their implementation delivers tangible impacts

on improving the company’s performance,

” he added.

As part of the IMPACT 2026 series, SUCOFINDO also presented the Knowledge Sharing

Series IMPACT Talk featuring PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO)’s Corporate Transformation

Expert, Adi Munandir, with the topic Business Acumen for Innovation: From Ideas to

Business Impact.

In his presentation, Adi Munandir explained that business acumen is the ability to

understand how a business operates comprehensively, ranging from customer needs,

supply chains, and competitive dynamics to the business context faced by the company.

According to him, innovation is not solely about novelty but must also be capable of

generating impact, creating value, and being supported by strong business acumen.

“Great ideas are indeed important, but turning them into something truly meaningful and

impactful requires business acumen. It all begins with understanding and continually

recognising who values and benefits from the ideas we create,

” explained Adi Munandir.

Adi Munandir further added that value in innovation refers to the extent to which the

solutions developed are relevant to the needs of the market, customers, and internalorganisations, which is ultimately reflected in measurable business outcomes and

performance.

“The innovation challenge is not merely about finding ideas, but about developing solutions

that are effective and efficient, particularly in terms of cost. The more cost-efficient the

solutions are, the greater the opportunity for the company to create added value and

increase profit,

” said Adi Munandir.

Previously, the IMPACT Talk series had been conducted in two sessions. The first session

carried the theme “Innovation Management System ISO 56001:2024 and the Intellectual

Property Ecosystem” and featured Dr. Andrieansjah, Director of Patents, Integrated Circuit

Layout Designs, and Trade Secrets at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property,

Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia, as the keynote speaker.

Meanwhile, the second session carried the theme “Empowering Industrial Services Through

Robotics and Emerging Technologies” and featured Roni Permana Saputra, Ph.D., DIC,

Research Group Leader for Robotics and System Intelligence at the National Research and

Innovation Agency (BRIN), and Wahyudi Arief, Head of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) for

Assets and New & Renewable Energy of PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO). Through these two

sessions, participants gained insights into strengthening innovation management systems,

intellectual property protection, and the utilisation of robotics and advanced technologies as

drivers of sustainable industrial service transformation.

At IMPACT 2026, participants are equipped with an innovation framework consisting of six

stages: Goals & Plans, Problems & Opportunities, Divergence, Incubation, Illumination, and

Convergence, as guidance in developing structured and impactful innovation proposals.

IMPACT 2026 features two competition categories, namely Superior Innovation and

Business Transformation Ideas.

The entire programme series will culminate on 19–20 August 2026. The grand finale will

feature innovation talks by subject matter experts in technology, finalist booth exhibitions,
