The TIC Council serves as the global association for the Testing, Inspection, and Certification industry, providing a strategic platform for TIC organizations worldwide to promote standards harmonization, regulatory compliance, safety, sustainability, and trust across international trade and supply chains.
This year’s summit focused on the evolving role of the TIC industry in supporting global sustainability objectives, enhancing supply chain transparency, accelerating energy transition initiatives, and facilitating compliance with increasingly complex international regulations.
During a meeting with members of the TIC Council Global Board, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) President Director Sandry Pasambuna highlighted Indonesia’s readiness to play a more significant role in addressing global market needs, particularly in halal assurance, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation, and compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
“We continue to strengthen certification and assurance services that support the global halal ecosystem, enhance verification and traceability systems for EUDR implementation, and provide TIC solutions that help businesses meet sustainability and compliance requirements in a measurable, transparent, and reliable manner,” said Sandry Pasambuna.
He further emphasized that SUCOFINDO’s participation in the international forum represents a strategic step toward expanding global partnerships while reinforcing Indonesia’s role in the global trade and sustainable industry ecosystem.
“SUCOFINDO also supports the new leadership structure of the TIC Council, including efforts to strengthen the role of global board members in promoting international collaboration, standards harmonization, and the development of a TIC industry that is increasingly adaptive and sustainable in addressing future global challenges,” he added.
