SUCOFINDO Spreads the Spirit of Giving Through Nationwide Eid al-Adha Qurban Program

Jakarta, May 27, 2026 – In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) organized the simultaneous distribution and slaughtering of qurban animals across its head office, branch offices, and service units throughout Indonesia. The initiative reflects the Company’s commitment to social responsibility while reinforcing the values of solidarity, compassion, and mutual cooperation that remain integral to its corporate culture.

During the qurban handover and slaughtering activities, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) President Director Sandry Pasambuna emphasized that Eid al-Adha serves as an important reminder of the values of sincerity, compassion, unity, and sharing with others.

“The values embodied in Eid al-Adha are closely aligned with PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO)’s commitment to continuously creating positive impacts for communities and the environment surrounding our operations,” said Sandry Pasambuna.

He further noted that, as a state-owned enterprise, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) remains committed to delivering sustainable social contributions.

“For this reason, we strive to make this qurban initiative an annual corporate program. Going forward, we hope to further strengthen the spirit of giving and increase the number of qurban animals distributed so that even more communities can benefit from this initiative,” he added.

Echoing this commitment, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) Human Resources Director Budi Utomo stated that social responsibility is an integral part of the Company’s role as a state-owned enterprise.

“As a state-owned enterprise, SUCOFINDO has a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to society. Through the Eid al-Adha celebration, we seek to provide tangible benefits to communities surrounding our operational areas. The spirit of sharing and social care remains deeply embedded in our corporate culture,” said Budi Utomo.

As a state-owned enterprise operating in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) sector, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) not only focuses on strengthening its business performance and service excellence but also strives to deliver sustainable social value through various community-focused programs.

“A total of 37 cattle and 35 goats were distributed to communities surrounding the Company’s operational areas through coordinated efforts involving our branches and service units across Indonesia, ensuring that the benefits reach a broader range of beneficiaries,” Budi Utomo explained.

This commitment aligns with the Company’s support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, and Reduced Inequalities.

Budi Utomo further emphasized that Eid al-Adha serves as a reminder of the importance of strengthening social solidarity and mutual cooperation within society.

As part of its commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s halal ecosystem, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), through its role as an accredited Halal Inspection Body (LPH), continues to support halal certification processes, including those related to slaughtering services and livestock processing facilities.

With extensive expertise in halal auditing, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) possesses the capability to conduct inspections of slaughterhouses and poultry processing facilities to ensure compliance with the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) and applicable halal standards.

In addition, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) provides integrated one-stop halal services, including Halal Product Certification, Muslim-Friendly Tourism Certification, and various supporting certifications such as Organic Food Certification, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System certification. These services can also be supported by laboratory testing where required to facilitate export compliance and international market access.
