Jakarta, February 20 – PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) continues to strengthen its role in supporting Indonesia’s national decarbonization agenda and accelerating the transition toward Net Zero Emissions (NZE) through sustainable business practices integrated with its core competencies in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC).
This commitment has received national recognition through the Indonesia Top Achievements of the Year 2026, organized by Metro TV. During the event, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) was honored with the Environmental and Industrial Compliance Excellence Award 2026 for its contribution to advancing environmental compliance and sustainable industrial governance.
PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) Director of Operations, Dani Pramantyo, emphasized that sustainability has become an integral part of the Company’s business strategy.
“Sustainability is no longer merely a commitment; it has been embedded into programs and services that deliver tangible environmental, social, and economic impacts in a balanced and sustainable manner,” said Dani Pramantyo.
One example of this implementation is SUCOFINDO’s collaboration with the Kebumen Environmental, Housing, and Land Agency (DLHKP Kebumen) in developing and optimizing biogas facilities in Kebumen Regency. The initiative utilizes methane gas generated from landfill waste and converts it into biogas that can be used by surrounding communities as an alternative household energy source while contributing to greenhouse gas emission reductions.
According to Dani Pramantyo, the initiative is also aligned with SUCOFINDO’s role as a Validation and Verification Body (VVB) under the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Carbon Economic Value (NEK) schemes. As such, the Company’s contribution extends beyond technical services to supporting the development of Indonesia’s carbon economy ecosystem.
In addition, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), in collaboration with the Bendesa Adat Manukaya Let Gianyar and Yayasan Akshara Linia, has developed a community-based waste management program through the establishment of a 3R Waste Processing Facility (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) as well as a Green House and Ecofarm initiative. The program is designed to generate sustainable environmental, social, and economic benefits while empowering local communities.
“Sustainable business growth can only be achieved through integrated social and environmental responsibility, creating both economic and social value simultaneously,” Dani Pramantyo added.
Commenting on SUCOFINDO’s achievement of the Environmental and Industrial Compliance Excellence Award 2026, Dani Pramantyo stated that the recognition serves as a strong motivation for the Company to further enhance its performance and contribution to Indonesia and the global community.
“Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our green services, ESG-based solutions, environmental action programs, and other green generation initiatives to support Indonesia’s Net Zero Emissions targets,” he concluded.
As a leading Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) also supports the optimization of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs through a range of professional services, including social mapping, ISO 26000 consultancy, Sustainability Report development, Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) measurement, and CSR impact assessment using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology. This approach ensures that CSR programs are measurable, strategic, and aligned with Indonesia’s sustainable development agenda.
