SUCOFINDO Certifies PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, Advancing Governance Standards and Sustainable Infrastructure Development

Jakarta, May 8, 2026 – Efforts to strengthen corporate governance and sustainability standards across Indonesia’s construction sector continue to gain momentum amid growing demands for efficiency, workplace safety, and transparency in infrastructure projects. In support of this objective, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) awarded an Integrated Management System certification to PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) on April 29, 2026.

The certification encompasses multiple internationally recognized management system standards, including SNI ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems, SNI ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, SNI ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, SNI ISO 37001:2025 for Anti-Bribery Management Systems, SNI ISO 31000:2018 for Risk Management, and SNI ISO 21502:2020 for Project Management Guidance.

The achievement comes at a time when Indonesia’s construction industry faces increasingly complex challenges, ranging from regulatory compliance and project risk management to the growing expectation for sustainable practices in national infrastructure development.

PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) Commercial Director Agus Permadi emphasized that the implementation of an integrated management system serves not only as a compliance mechanism but also as a strategic foundation for maintaining project quality and ensuring long-term business sustainability.

“This achievement reflects WIKA’s strong commitment to implementing international standards comprehensively across its operations. At the same time, it reinforces SUCOFINDO’s role as a Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company in supporting industries to operate in accordance with globally recognized best practices,” said Agus Permadi.

According to Agus, an integrated management system enables organizations to establish more effective, measurable, and resilient operational frameworks capable of responding to evolving industry dynamics and operational risks.

He further noted that adherence to international standards plays a critical role in strengthening stakeholder confidence in Indonesia’s construction sector, particularly for strategic infrastructure projects that require high levels of quality, safety, accountability, and governance.

“The implementation of an integrated management system is a key component in building a professional, ethical, and sustainable corporate governance framework. Certification is not merely an administrative requirement; it is a strategic instrument that supports consistent performance across all operational functions,” Agus added.

In line with this perspective, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk Director of Risk Management and Legal Affairs Fafan Khoirul Fanani stated that the certification represents an important asset for the Company in navigating an increasingly competitive construction industry.

He further emphasized that the implementation of six internationally recognized management systems through an integrated approach reflects the Company’s strategic commitment to strengthening its business foundation while enhancing national competitiveness.
