Jakarta, May 1 – PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) continues to enhance its competitiveness through human capital development and expanded international engagement by participating in a conformity assessment conducted by the Asian Network Forum (ANF), particularly for its Certification and Eco Framework portfolio as well as Laboratory services.
President Director of PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), Sandry Pasambuna, stated that the assessment represents an important milestone in strengthening the Company’s technical competencies and professional capabilities, particularly in inspection, testing, and certification services. The initiative also reinforces SUCOFINDO’s readiness to meet global standards through the implementation of ISO/IEC 17065 for Certification Bodies and ISO/IEC 17025 for Testing Laboratories.
“We believe that continuous competency development is a key factor in ensuring service excellence and maintaining a competitive advantage. Through this assessment, SUCOFINDO is not only strengthening its internal capabilities but also preparing a workforce that is adaptive to international standards and global best practices,” said Sandry Pasambuna.
Participation in the Asian Network Forum also represents a strategic step in expanding SUCOFINDO’s role within the international conformity assessment ecosystem.
“Engagement with the ANF creates opportunities to strengthen mutual recognition among participating countries, enabling testing, inspection, and certification results to gain broader international acceptance. This will directly contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesian products and services in global markets,” he added.
The assessment was conducted by an international team of assessors comprising Taeseung Song as Team Leader, along with Jinyong Kim and Sunhee Shin. The evaluation covered a comprehensive review of general requirements, organizational structure, resources, operational processes, and management systems.
The assessment process is designed to ensure that SUCOFINDO’s certification and laboratory services continue to meet internationally recognized standards while supporting the Company’s commitment to operational excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
