Padang (29/12), PT SUCOFINDO presented the ISO 50001:2018 SNI certificate for Energy Management Systems (EMS) to PT Semen Padang. The EMS certificate was handed over directly by the President Director of PT SUCOFINDO, Jobi Triananda, to Asri Mukhtar, President Director of PT Semen Padang.

As we all know, SNI ISO 50001:2018 is an international standard that provides a framework for efficient energy management within organizations. This certificate not only acknowledges the hard work of PT Semen Padang in energy management but also demonstrates their commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and innovation,” said Jobi Triananda, President Director of PT SUCOFINDO.
The consistent implementation of EMS at PT Semen Padang has impacted sustainable energy savings, emission reductions, and efficiency. “Effective energy management supports the transition to sustainable industries that are environmentally conscious and climate resilient, or low-carbon industries,” said Jobi Triananda.
Furthermore, Jobi Triananda stated that implementing energy efficiency demonstrates commitment and responsibility towards the environment and a sustainable future for future generations.
“The implementation of Energy Management Systems also contributes to achieving satisfactory results such as PROPER Gold, particularly in energy efficiency criteria. We also congratulate PT Semen Padang on achieving PROPER Gold in 2023, awarded by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry on Wednesday, December 20, 2023,” said Jobi Triananda.
