Calibration of Dimensions, Mass, Pressure, Electricity, Force, Temperature, Volume, and Equipment Instrumentation

Calibration of Dimensions, Mass, Pressure, Electricity, Force, Temperature, Volume, and Equipment Instrumentation Elucidation

Specifications of dimensions, mass, pressure, electricity, force, temperature, volume, and instrumentation of each equipment can significantly affect the equipment’s operations. To ensure that the company uses the correct specifications, PT SUCOFINDO helps to obtain certainty of the accuracy of measurement of production equipment and measuring instruments in trade transactions so that fair transactions occur and avoid disputes over different measurement and test results.

The service also helps companies ensure that their products meet local and international regulations, thereby reducing the risk of recalling failed products or products that do not meet regulatory requirements while enhancing the company’s image.

Calibration of Dimensions, Mass, Pressure, Electricity, Force, Temperature, Volume, and Equipment Instrumentation Service Scope

All measuring instruments used in the production process, public service, and other industrial sectors, which in their use affect the final quality of the product/service, require calibration.

PT SUCOFINDO has a calibration laboratory that has been accredited by KAN – BSN through a calibration certificate number LK – 023 – IDN has the capability of calibrating the following scales:

  •  Calibration of the dimensions, with the ability to measure up to a resolution of 0.00001 mm for length measuring tools such as gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers, ring gauges, and so on.
  • Calibration of mass quantities for mass measuring tools up to class E2, such as scales, weigh, etc.
  • Calibration of force magnitudes for force measuring instruments up to 1000 kN capacity, such as proving rings, compression machines, torque meters, and so on.
  • Calibration of the amount of pressure for pressure measuring tools up to a capacity of 1200 bar, such as pressure gauge, dead weight tester, digital manometer, pressure indicator, and so on.
  • Calibration of temperature quantities for temperature measuring tools from -2000C to 1700°C, such as ovens, thermometers, thermocouples, cold storage, furnaces, and so on.
  • Calibration of electrical quantities for measuring tools such as voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, power meter, capacitance meter, oscilloscope, and so on.
  • Calibration of volume and flow quantities for volume measuring instruments such as laboratory glassware, micro syringes, liquid flow meters, etc.
  • Calibration of laboratory instrumentation such as gas detector, pH meter, conductivity meter, turbidity meter, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, AAS, GC, ICP, and so on.
  • Calibration of hospital equipment such as ECG, sphygmomanometer, blood warmer, incubator, defibrillator, suction, ventilator, treadmill, and so on.
  • Calibration of volumetric measuring instruments consisting of:
    • Calibration of dynamic measuring instruments (meter prover and flow meter);
    • Calibration of the static measuring instruments (stock tank).

Execution

PT SUCOFINDO has the expertise, technology, and experience in almost all offshore Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) operations, ready to support the calibration of oil and gas custody transfer equipment in Indonesia.

Calibration of Measuring and Testing Tools

  • Pre-survey of the equipment to be calibrated, if necessary. This survey needs to be carried out so that calibration can be carried out correctly on target, both in magnitude and range.
  • Execution of work either on-site (in situ) or ex-situ.
  • Issuance of certificates/calibration reports bearing the KAN logo.

Calibration Meter Prover

  • Pre calibration
  • Doing a test with the equipment
  • Running Test
  • Calibrate the Master Meter using a standard measuring vessel to meet the standards of accuracy and repeatability
  • Calibrate the meter prover using a master meter until repeatability is met.

Ground Tank Calibration

  • Tank diameter measurement
  • Measurement of the dimensions of the tank wall plates of each tier and the possible slope
  • Measurement of swamp volume (deadwood) and addition
  • Tank bottom surface measurement
