Malang (10/1) – PT SUCOFINDO synergizes with Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in an effort to realize the improvement of quality in Human Resources (HR). This synergy was confirmed in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the President Director of PT SUCOFINDO Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi and the Chancellor of Universitas Brawijaya Prof. Widodo.
“This collaboration is an effort to improve the quality of human resources with globally competitive competencies, as well as qualified technical capabilities in their fields,” said the Main Director of PT SUCOFINDO Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi.
Furthermore, Mas Wigrantoro hopes that the realization of this collaboration will be able to produce superior quality human resources in line with mutual expectations. Brawijaya University Chancellor Prof. Widodo in his remarks signing the MoU said the cooperation would be implemented in various fields, such as education, research, improving the quality of human resources, and other business developments.
In addition, according to Widodo, this collaboration is the basis for the parties to formulate collaboration in various activities while taking into account the applicable laws and regulations and the principles of good corporate governance (GCG).
“Through this collaboration, I hope that the two institutions, both Sucofindo and UB, can complement each other. Hopefully, our students can do internships at Sucofindo. In addition, practitioners from Sucofindo can become teachers at UB through the 3 in 1 program,” said Widodo.
On the same occasion, the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) was also carried out by the Human Resources Director of PT SUCOFINDO Johanes Nanang Marjianto with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya Hadi Suyono.
PT SUCOFINDO has also collaborated with several universities, including Gajah Mada University, University of Indonesia, Jambi University, UPN Yogyakarta, and Airlangga University. “We are optimistic that the results of the collaboration between educational institutions and PT SUCOFINDO can provide the best results for Indonesia and we do not rule out the possibility of working with other institutions to realize an increase in the quality of human resources,” concluded Johanes Nanang.
