1.00 An organization granted certification by SUCOFINDO International Certification Services is entitled to use the SUCOFINDO International Certification Services Certification Mark and when authorized the KAN Accreditation Mark (refer section 2.03a) under the conditions laid down in this document.
2.01 The Certification Mark must always be used in conjunction with the organization’s name and include the applicable standard and organization’s number below it (refer Figure 1).
2.02 The Certification Mark shall not be more conspicuous than the name and logo of the certified organization.
2.03 An Accreditation Mark:
a. may only be used if the Mark appears on the organization’s Certification Certificate
b. must be displayed with the Certification Mark (refer Figure 2)
c. shall not be more conspicuous than the Certification Mark and the name and logo of the certified organization
2.04 The Certification and/or Accreditation Marks must be displayed in the following colors:
a. as per the figures 1 and 2, and Note 3.02, or
b. black on a white background, or a background in another color clearly contrasting with black, or
c. white on a black background.
2.05 An Accreditation Mark:
a. may only be used if the Mark appears on the organization’s Certification Certificate
b. must be displayed with the Certification Mark refer Figure 4a, Figure 4b and Figure 4c..
c. shall not be more conspicuous than the Certification Mark and the name and logo of the certified organization.
2.06 The Certification and/or Accreditation Marks may only be used in correspondence and advertising and promotional materials and must not be used in connection with those goods or services outside the scope of certification (refer Note 3.01).
2.07 The Organization must identify the goods or services to which the Certificate of Certification applies when using the Certification and/or Accreditation Marks in a context where the scope of the Certification is open to doubt.
2.08 The Certification and/or Accreditation Marks may be embossed or stamped onto paper.
2.09 The Certification and/or Accreditation Marks may not be:
a. with a diameter smaller than 10 mm
b. used on product certificates. e.g. Certificate of analysis.
c. displayed in association with goods or services outside the scope of certification.
2.10 If the Certification and/or Accreditation Marks is to be used on promotional material such as diaries and calendars such material must relate in whole or in part to the organization’s certification scope.
2.11 The Certification and/or Accreditation Marks must not under circumstances be used directly on or closely associated with product in such a way as to imply that the products themselves are certified by SUCOFINDO International Certification Services.
2.12 The Certification and/or Accreditation Marks can not be placed on labels and affixed to the product or placed on product packaging.
2.13 The Organization undertakes to discontinue any use of the Certification and/or Accreditation Marks which is unacceptable to the SUCOFINDO International Certification Services and any form of statement referring to the authority of the Organization to use the Certification Mark which in the opinion of the SUCOFINDO International Certification Services.
2.14 Upon termination of the Certification for whatever reason, the Organization undertakes to discontinue all use of the Certification and/or Accreditation Marks immediately, destroying stocks of material on which in appears.
